A holiday fundraiser coordinated by The Greenville News, WYFF 4, and the YMCA of Greenville has raised more than $49,000 for families in need since Thanksgiving Day.

Every year, the Holiday Sunshine Fund collects donations that are distributed to local nonprofits to support families during the holidays. Dozens of local nonprofits have received money through the Holiday Sunshine Fund, including Harvest Hope Food Bank and Triune Mercy Center.

Since its launch on Thanksgiving, the 2025 fund has raised more than $49,000, $6,700 of which came from a two-and-a-half-hour telethon hosted by WYFF 4 on Dec. 10.
