New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez was burned by a pass from Denver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham to Marvin Mims early in the game, but he made up for it in the fourth quarter.
With snow coming down at Empower Field at Mile High, Stidham threw a lofty pass down the sideline that got stuck in the air. Gonzalez came down with the ball for a clutch turnover.
The interception helped seal New England’s 10-7 victory over Denver. The Patriots will advance to Super Bowl LX.
